Bryony Blinman - Senior Client Relationship Manager

Bryony has worked in the Education sector for the last seven years following a move from a successful career in the commercial sector (18 years in marketing and technical development in the personal products markets). She joins IDP Education from the University of Exeter, where she worked in the International Office as Assistant Director, Partnerships, managing the University’s strategic partnerships worldwide and leading the Study Abroad Programme. Prior to Exeter, Bryony was Head of International Student Recruitment at Bath Spa University, where she recruited students from around the world. Before Bath Spa, she was responsible for recruitment and admission of international students into masters programmes within the Faculty of Applied Sciences at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.

Bryony graduated with a first class honours degree in Chemistry from the University of Manchester in 1985. Her first job was at Unilever Research Laboratory, Port Sunlight, UK as a research chemist looking at the delivery of active ingredients in dental formulations. She moved into development of decorative cosmetics before Unilever sold the Rimmel colour cosmetics brand to Coty Inc. Bryony moved with the brand and switched from development to marketing. She helped Coty manage the Global relaunch of Rimmel and its first appearance in the US through Walmart. She moved to a small skincare company - Liz Earle Cosmetics, where she headed up marketing and operations before she decided on a career change and moved into educational marketing.
