Ingi Maher – Regional Specialist Based in Egypt
Ingi is a
graduate of De Montfort University, Leicester, UK with a BA (Hons)
in Politics and International Relations. During her educational
career she was always involved in the students’ union and held many
elected positions over the years. Having started in high-end
international recruitment and sales she moved into the
not-for-profit sector working for organisations such as UNICEF and
The Royal Hospital for Neuro-Disability as a Fundraising and Donor
Development Officer. As Student Support Officer for the Royal
College of Art in London, she was responsible for creating and
running the international students' induction week and aided them,
and resident UK students, in all educational and living related
issues and enquiries. She then moved to Chase Lawrence Stockbrokers
Ltd as Operations Manager and was pivotal in turning the small
start-up company into a substantial team whilst running and
developing its advertising, training and expansion.
Ingi is spearheading IDP Middle East efforts to launch UK
destinations as part of the expansion strategy. Her
responsibilities include preparation for the UK launch, roll out of
team training, and continuous improvement of Student's-IDP-UK
Client relationships.
