Katie Hutt - Contracts Manager
Katie manages the contractual functions of IDP UK,
supporting the work of the UK team.
Having studied in the UK, France and Spain, Katie started her
career in law with global firm Reed Smith. Such was her track
record in this demanding area that she was awarded “Trainee of the
Year” from The Law Society. She then utilised her legal background
by founding and leading the charity A4ID (Advocates for
International Development), which facilitates pro bono legal
support in developing countries. Here she took complete
responsibility for running an organisation, which gave her exposure
to a range of new disciplines outside of law. This ultimately gave
her a thirst for business and we have been lucky enough to benefit
from this.
