Petra Vahalova - Client Relationship Assistant

Petra graduated from Cardiff University in 2011 where she acquired her BScEcon European Union Studies with German and Italian. She incorporated into her degree Erasmus Exchange. This is a European mobility programme designed to get exchanges of students between two or three countries. Petra split her time in Germany and Italy.

Her interest in language is also reflected in her completing i-to-i TEFL. Her choice of location for her Higher Education is a long way from where she started. Born in the Czech Republic she moved with her parents to Pretoria, South Africa. But on completing her "A" levels, rather than going straight to university, she opted to leave her home and come to the UK. Here she worked for Kingswood Educational Activity Centre. Such was the impact she made in this job, she was promoted to Senior Instructor and took up a position in Normandy, France. 　

Whilst studying her degree at Cardiff University, Petra undertook a diverse range of roles, which included student language ambassador, student support worker, as well as Sales and Marketing Manager for a local Party Boat firm based in Cardiff Bay.
